MediaJerk is r2streu’s personal(ish) blog.  Actually, it’s more a commentary on media and culture — but since this comprises both my work and my hobby, we’ll call it personal.  I am a radio broadcaster in Northern New York, a professional videographer for seven years (previously a duplication technician with a corporate communications firm in Michigan) and a husband and father to two (four in February).  I began formal education in film and media back in ‘96, will (finally) finish my degree this Spring (‘08 — long story; don’t ask) and pursue post-graduate studies after.

So, that’s my bio. 

MediaJerk itself is a commentary blog, of sorts, discussing media and communication, culture, and the technology that brings it all to us.  If for some strange reason, you care about my opinion on politics or religion, I also blog on those, here and here, respectively.
